I love this picture from the Cherry Blossom Festival last weekend.
Of the years I’ve been in DC - this is my 3rd that I’ve been here for the Cherry Blossoms, this is the first year that I walked down there. It’s pretty great. Hopefully boyfriend and I will make it down for the sushi tastings this weekend!

I live for politics, books, shopping, working out and my friends. I adore anything pink, anything green and a cute pair of shoes. I work hard and play harder. I aspire to be a novelist (working on a manuscript!), a politician and make change in the world. I'm an idealist. I own a cute puppy and live with my fiancé in our nation's capitol. My mantra?
